It's so easy to set all sorts of elaborate goals as the year comes to an end, there's so much potential and time ahead of you in the next 365 days. The true challenge isn't making a big optimistic list of all the incredible things you're going to accomplish, it's sticking to those goals in March, April... and staying fired up all year to see them to completion. Is an arbitrary number on a calendar the best way to dictate the next moves of your business? Probably not, but reflection is important and focusing on what you want to get done is essential.

Along with being a place to post your goals for the year, this thread will serve as an archive with links to all of the monthly goal threads for 2015.

Goals for January 2015
Goals for February 2015
Goals for March 2015
Goals for April 2015
Goals for May 2015
Goals for June 2015
Goals for July 2015
Goals for August 2015
Goals for September 2015
Goals for October 2015
Goals for November 2015
Goals for December 2015

In this thread, post your goals for the entire year of 2015 as a whole, and you can use the monthly threads as they are appear for goals that are more specific to those months.

2015 Goals
  1. 2 out of country trips
  2. Best physical condition of my life
  3. 100k in income
January Goals
  1. Secure income stream
  2. Physical activity and 80% diet 100% of days
@MetaData I think it'd be more interesting if we did a goals / systems pair. Like if my goal is 'best physical condition of life', then the month 'goals' should really be 'deliverables' that help us arrive at the yearly goal

2015 Goals
  1. Quit my full time job
  2. Grow my WordPress support business to $7,500 monthly
  3. Start a coffee roasting business for fun
  4. Become very well versed in digital marketing

  • Continue to Develop a Web Design Portfolio and Snag More Clients
  • Get the new non-off-page real marketing authority site earning and gaining momentum
  • Continue to drop fat percentage. Learn more about nutrition and up cardio in addition to the current weight lifting
  • Become extremely disciplined in terms of waking and sleeping, eating, socializing, and grinding.
This hasn't been thought out at all. I'm going to have a sit down at some point and really refine my goals and then revisit this thread.

I guess this is where I'll put this (?)

Thought it might be good to put down a review of goals / achievements.
  • One vacation with family.
    • In limbo
    • This is still upcoming, although change or work place (if) might put a dent into those plans.
  • Lose weight and get back into a good exercise regime.
    • FAIL
  • Master Python (such a SWEEEET language)
    • Working on it, one project (the related article feature) is online already
  • Write article to send in to actual print magazines in Germany
    • Might not happen
  • 5 applications for new jobs
    • Done
    • In talks with one company right now. No idea if this is right for me... so it'll need to be more.
  • Get Google analytics certificate
    • not started yet
    • Simply have to find the time
  • Get related articles feature online
    • DONE
  • Five new articles for blind ape
    • FAIL
  • Freelance - Repeated pitch at two restaurant sites for new features.
    • Done
    • no dice. That manager is doing NOTHING
  • Game site
    • Still undecided.
  • Drone Site
    • 20+ articles done, traffic is coming ~ at 2K for April (starting from the middle of the month)
  • Weight loss site
  • Niche site
    • Dormant
::emp::

- Get my niche site to 100 a day profit by the end of September.
- Get the same site to 300 a day by the end of December.
- Go travelling somewhere nice to celebrate this... Turkey, Thailand or Brazil.
- Start doing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu again and build up to 5 times a week.
- Get ripped doing the above.
- Learn basic Portuguese.
- Learn basic coding.
- Be more social in general, been a bit of a neckbeard recently.

Now, I'm not sure if all this will be possible, but if I accomplish goals 1, 4 and 5 that would be pretty sweet. I'm also allowing a full year for these goals, so basically by the time I'm 29 I should have these accomplished (in theory).

2015 Goal:

1. Double Networth.

Automate as much as possible and then scale it. Everything must be automated

While I did move forward with my projects, this year saw so much sh*t happening.

2015 has been and still is awesome!

2015 Goal:

1. Double Networth. Done.

I probably should have set my goals a bit higher. Going from drive-thru to Fries had a nice impact on my monies, but next year it's time to go even harder. That's going to require a new level of dedication, above where I'm currently at.

Since Oct 15th, I've been writing and saving daily reports in textfiles of my business activities for the day. I have a daily reminder at 9pm to update it. However that's usually not necessary since the first thing I do is open a new textfile and put it on another Desktop Space, and type my progress and what I worked on throughout the day.

Looking back there was a ton of time wasted. My effort is at a 'C-' at the very best, but it can only improve. I'm working on the end game, so there is nothing left in my way except to focus.

My year started out with a major car accident that left my Benz E55 totaled. That sucked majorly. But whatever I just keep going at it. I've had a ton of major problems that would cripple most but I just have to keep on going. The past is for reflection only, never dwell in it.

One thing I'll re-iterate is people around you will suck your time if you let them. I've got people on my ignore list that continue and insist on pulling me into their new weekly drama soap opera. All you can do is delete them from your contacts and be done with them. If you don't they'll keep pulling you in, cause there are certain types of people who have nothing to do and rather spend time creating whirlwinds instead of moving forward in life. Those type of people have to go.

I've been pretty good the last 2 years on concentrating on a couple of projects and that's only going to continue. I've got some major bombshells ready for the next several months, so things are only going to get more exciting.
