How many of you lost your US phone number when Skype went out of service?

Just a question i've been pondering.

I lost my really good US phone numbers when skype service shut down. For SMS verifications, etc are any of you also having had to have face the same issue of finding a new service?

Me lol. I used to use it a lot in the past but luckily people seemed to start booking with my calendar link and nobody ever tried to call me anymore anyway so it wasn't a big loss. Only a few people still had it.

At least gets the SMS verifications done

I use the cheapest plan on https://tello.com/ on a dedicated phone. It is like $5/month for the cheapest package and has free international roaming.

Yeah it sucked, Skype was actually quite useful for me often, also if I needed to call some customer support halfway around the world.
