What do people "buy" your "product" for?

Has anyone read the book, Your Money or Your Life by Vicki Robin?

Have you ever really sat down and thought about why people buy your product, like an indepth review of why they buy the product?
 
I've read the book, and I see where the connection between the two is coming from, but I think it overcomplicates it. Much more straightforward to use brainstorming + ChatGPT + 5 why's to get to all the possible root causes of why someone wants the product. That being said, I don't have a product right now :smile:
 
Laziness. My product is a convience product. It's the same sales pitch as food delivery. They just want the product without putting in the effort and they want it quickly and guaranteed. We're not Dominos but I can just say "Get X in 30 minutes or its free, guaranteed" and they'll buy.
