Twitter Followers Count

Been getting Twitter followers on this one account everyday, but the number of followers count has not changed. What gives?

Some of those who followed you unfollowed you.
Or some of them were banned.

^ Alright. Let's get some more followers the old fashion way again and monitor count numbers.

I wonder if their new API counter update is affecting that? You know that Twitter tweets no longer shows on sites right?

Sometimes it takes a few hours before the number gets updated. If the number has decreased or increased slower than expected than I would think it had something to do with losing followers faster than gaining, but for now I'd say in your case the number is not updating. Just make sure your account is not locked or anything by logging on to it.
