I'm starting to roadmap my first authority site in a little more detail and I had a quick question that I was hoping the hive mind can point me in the right direction of...
I'm pretty set on a niche, there are Amazon affiliate sites, good traffic, good interest, advertisers willing to spend money and it's got enough going on that I feel comfortable grinding out content on it.

In my mind I know that I want to launch with my own product... at first a digital product and then possible a physical product.
The question is, should you verify demand for a digital product idea before setting to work on the content?
I took a look at Clickbank but there's only 2 or 3 existing products for this niche (at least on Clickbank).
The plan would be to throw up a few landing pages for different offer concepts, set up a Facebook ads campaign and then see which pre-sell converts highest... and then build that out first.
If anyone has used a better process or has a link to good resources I'd be so grateful!
