I have a couple of older websites that are geared towards musicians. I want to find out if I'm missing out on any important monetization methods to consider trying... I have enough traffic that I can play around with stuff.

Here's what I've tried so far..
- Clickbank (Info products about making music, courses, etc...)
- Adsense
- Amazon with links to software, hardware, studio gear, books
- CJ (This didn't work out well at all...)

Take a look at zZounds, they have a pretty decent affiliate program http://www.zzounds.com/aff

That bonus structure is really nice if you go exclusive with them. REALLY nice. It shouldn't be too hard to eventually move that level of volume. One item could push you over the edge to tier 2.

- Ebay
I've seen many music forums set up alerts with ebay and run a section that shows whatever new and worthwhile items land on ebay. Skip all the Behringer crap and just tune up quality stuff to show, of high value. Preamps, compressors, mic's, keyboards, synths, soundbanks, guitars, amps, etc. Don't do cables and little 4 channel mixers and stuff like that.
