Does anyone here use fat Joe’s query hunter? Is your long tail traffic still strong with new updates? My team will test it out next quarter but I want to start discussing this now. IMO it might be a good way to get 10-20% more traffic for already ranking articles. Might be a good move unless your site went to zero from latest updates.
For people not in the loop, fat joe has a link building agency. His query hunter tool is a Wordpress plugin that checks for keywords your post gets traffic from in GSC and then checks if that keyword appears in your article. If it doesn’t it suggests the keyword. If a keyword appears in text, it is a ranking signal. Or at least it was awhile ago.
Theory checks out but, you know, practice is greater than theory.
