Facebook has a 'Send Money' Feature Now?

Just saw this today:

It looks like it was rolled out quietly last month:

I don't see any fees attached to it either.

trying to take on venmo/paypal/google wallet/apple pay. This should be an interesting year for online payments - particularly with PayPal becoming an ever increasing douchebag of a company.

I would like nothing more than to get away from PayPal, their fees, and their random freezing of funds. I'd say the widespread use of their service is probably the only reason that I stay around. Their reporting functions are helpful too.

What I'd really like is another online payment processor that will accept PayPal as a payment option.
