Can/Do you write-off the cost of hired writers?

As a new blogger, outsourcing can be scary- does one write-off these expenses? I’d like to properly estimate the profit per article and what I’m paying writers... mostly because I’m outsourcing hundreds of articles right now and can’t find any anecdotal evidence online regarding this.

If blogging or running authority websites is your business model, then paying someone to write is a basic operating cost, so yes, it is something you write off against your profits.
