Do you have any SEO secret tricks that is not known publicly?

Honestly, there are no secret SEO tricks that Google doesnt already know. If something really work, eventually become common knowledge. Instead of chasing shortcuts, its better to focus on what actually helps in the long run. Improving your existing content, working on pages that are already getting some visibility, and linking your pages properly can bring good results. Writing in a clear and helpful way for real users matter more than repeating keywords. Paying attention to real search terms, improving page titles for better clicks and cleaning up low quality pages also helps. SEO gives results when you stay patient, consistent and focus on genuinely helping users.

Hi bopeep, that’s a great question. In the agency world, especially at Rankmancer, we’ve moved away from 'hacks' and started focusing on what I call 'Entity Proximity SEO', which is rarely discussed in public SEO circles.

Most people focus on keywords and basic backlinks, but the real 'secret' we use is manipulating the Link Graph Proximity. We don’t just look for a niche-relevant link; we map out if the linking domain is already mathematically 'close' to high-authority entities in the Knowledge Graph. By securing links from sites that Google already trusts as 'authoritative sources' for a specific entity, we’ve seen rankings move much faster than just chasing high DR numbers.

We've been using this approach for over two years now, and the consistency is remarkable. It’s not a quick 'button-push' hack, but once you align your client's site with the right entities, the 'trust' transfer is massive and much more resilient to algorithm updates. It’s basically about speaking Google’s mathematical language of nodes and edges rather than just content and links.

Curious to know if anyone else here is looking at link building through the lens of the Knowledge Graph yet?

I dont get the love for SEO honestly, and this is from the guy that started SERPWoo and ranked on websites like DMOZ and Yahoo Directory before Google was a name.

You all could have been doing paid, and made 100x more NET in 1/5th the time frame if you moved from the model you picked.

@eliquid you mean paid ads? I've tried Meta ads for my wall art biz, also had two so called expert companies have a go and got nothing from it but an empty wallet. Granted, not massive budgets or timeframes but then I was never gonna get that money back from meta ads. That so called learning phase is what kills me. The feeling that nothing will change except your bank balance going down and down

I think it's like anything...

You have to put time and money in to see results.

Few ways to think about it....

1. Wanna be a great trader? It's gonna take time and money. Possibly thousands lost in the market and months/years waiting.

2. SEO? Months/years waiting and money sunk in domains, content, software, content writers, etc. As someone that has done both paid ads and SEO ( and had massive success in each ) for over 27 years now.. I just cant see the love for SEO when compared to paid ads though.

3. Great golfer? Months or years sunk in playing and money for equipment and practice ( green fees ) and potentially coaching.

Everyone says they try these things. But did they try them correctly? ( same with trading, SEO, golf ). Actually do the right things? How do you even know what the right things are unless you have done everything, every way?

Everyone says they paid an agency or two, but who says you picked the right agency ( same with trading, SEO, golf ). How do you know the right agency unless you tried dozens? How do you know the people in the agency try things correctly themselves ( see above ).

It could come down to, maybe the site/offer needs to be updated to fit a paid ads strategy. I know a couple wall art companies that crushed it on Meta ( metal wall art pieces ).

We all make time and spend money on the things we want. You either got to want it, or not.
