Just seen this site http://buttonoptimizer.com/ from http://blog.crazyegg.com/2014/07/22/call-action-buttons/.

You can either dl the cta buttons as .png files or copy the css it spits out.

Looks useful.

Eh, easier to just use Bootstrap or any framework and then go on something like codepen.io or copy it from another site you like.

Ex.

Eh, easier to just use Bootstrap

Unless you don't know HTML/CSS and haven't spent a day learning the basics. But yeah, Bootstrap lets you create one in seconds.

@Shimmy he's already copying CSS from that other tool though, what's the difference from copying and applying to a CSS element like .btn-special (something you make)? I hope no one is just making buttons out of images, it's worse performance wise and harder to work with.

I'm no developer and it's not my main focus but if your job is online you gotta at least learn simple foundations of CSS/HTML. That or be prepared to rely on a developer forever... which would be harder to hire if you don't know the basics yourself (I've had a lot of devs take advantage of me). I could go on and on here with where the negatives are for someone.

This isn't targeted to you but the idea that web people can get by without any experience in dev/programming (which I'm sure you weren't stating). I would compare it to being illiterate and working in book publishing.

I'm in my 5th month of working with Javascript HTML & CSS.

Just saying that a few people won't have knowledge of it yet, so the tool with be helpful to them. Yes they should learn the basics.
