CMS Recommendations for User Provided Downloads

I've had a friend reach out with a really great idea for a site. It is mainly paid downloadable resources in her industry (that would also allow others to upload their own resources and get paid).

Do you know if there is a CMS that would provide all the elements needed for this or a custom build?

Wordpress and a download plugin. Free, or from somewhere like CodeCanyon. Keep it simple and build the website and get it running first. Worry about other stuff later.

Oh, I have also used InvisionPowerBoard before, for it's file download (and user file uploads) capability.
