Clean link profile but Chinese content in Archive.org

So I found a decent domain with a good link profile, only problem is the snapshot shows some crap spam content in around 2011.

Is the domain useless now?

Checked both majestic and ahrefs, there aren't any spam links related to the content though

Yup, its about some diet (domain is tech related). Just one page with no outbound links

I'm sure it's fine. Slap it in Webmaster Tools and see if it throws a penalty warning if it doesn't index. If it does, you can get it unpenalized in about 48 hours.

I'm all about testing. Get the domain and 301 it to a one of your abandoned sites and check its effect. If the site tanks, toss the domain. If it improves, use the domain for your money projects
