SEOs are upset that Google is using their content on SGE but they said they're working on making SGE include more links and from a diverse source of websites so that everyone has a fair playing field for SGE traffic. Well... I was using BARD today and realized that BARD censors cited URLs. This was a shock to me, as it meant that Google used the cited URL for text generation but then refused to link to the cited URL.

I know that certain categories are banned on AdWords and maybe Googlers have decided that those certain categories should also be censored in BARD and maybe SGE too? If so, it's quite obvious that you can't use Bard to help you find "Squid game streaming" Maybe people in these industries would be safer from LLMs then, as customers would still need to see the top 10 from a search engine to find results, whether it be Google or Yandex or Bing or something else.
