Suppp buso there has been a lot of chatter here about reddit and getting traffic from it. It got me thinking big fish small pond or whatever and I started looking for sites that are similar to reddit but would be a lot easier to make it on the front page. The reward is a lot lower but its easier to get there.

Heres what I have so far and I'm looking for more suggestions if anyone has em.

Another way if you were looking for forum sub domains where someone mentioned "cheese"

inurl:"http://forum" cheese

But that only works if the URL starts with "http://forum", why not just use:

inurl:"forum" cheese

That way you pick up all of the domain.com/forum/ sites too.

You need to be looking for footprints, not words. What if they chose domain.com/community or /boards instead?

Searching for stuff like this will yield better results.
"powered by vbulletin"

“powered by wordpress” “leave a comment”

intext="Currently Active Users"

Here's a great PDF on really deep level Google hacking - https://www.blackhat.com/presentations/bh-europe-05/BH_EU_05-Long.pdf

No one said to limit yourself, but inurl:"forum" is a footprint and it's certainly viable for finding forums to traffic leak from....

If you're spamming then sure, but every idiot with GSA SER, Xrumer, SENuke etc, is already land blasting "powered by vbulletin", "powered by wordpress" out of the box...
