You should really stop doing that. I check my stats once per day and even that’s too much.
After 6 or 7 days of traffic increases it puts me on a downer if there’s even a slight decline the next day.
If I checked everything once per week I’d be a whole lot happier, and that’s enough to catch...
The number of ads you see on your site will be different from what your visitors see. I’ve had this conversation with Ezoic in the past, as I was also concerned. The algorithm decides how many ads to show each visitor, the number of ad placements on the page is irrelevant.
I’ve sold a couple of sites with Investors Club and never had any issues. A good team who know their stuff and the funds were transferred quickly. Also less fees than other brokers.
No changes in traffic here.
Wait a few days for Search Console data to update, then use the compare feature. Compare the day your traffic dropped with the previous day and you will be able to see what pages/queries got hit.
I'm seeing a 30% increase in the last 2 days on my main site. Initial thoughts are that informational content has seen a boost. Product reviews and buyer guides seem to have been unaffected by the last few updates.
That’s cool about the HARO service, do you do the work yourself or outsource it? Are you still doing it now you’re with an agency?
I was considering starting a HARO service but didn’t go through with. I think it would be hard to guarantee links due to the nature of HARO, or do you charge by the...
Outreach will always be time consuming no matter the method and I’m always looking for ways to speed it up.
At this point, I can go from starting outreach to sending 200-300 hundred outreach emails in 1-2 hours.
This method is designed for scale and will not get you as high a conversion rate as...
Not at all, it was purely HTML/CSS files uploaded to the server through FTP. I tried to explain everything the best I could, but then a week after the sale the site was converted to Wordpress anyway.
I always remember that site was blazing fast. It was back in the days before I used to worry...
I sold my first site back in 2017 and I custom coded it myself with just HTML, CSS and PHP. Found a buyer pretty quickly, but the funny thing is he didn’t realise it wasn’t Wordpress until after the sale.
I sent all the files over and he was like “where’s the database?” It was only then he...
I'm also looking for a better solution for this. The best I have found is a software called amzwatcher. I like it because it also finds items that are out of stock rather than just returning 404 pages. It is a bit pricey though, especially the more/bigger sites that you have.
I'm thinking...
I've noticed this a lot, and I was under the impression that they only do this when there isn't a more structured option available. If they are pulling all of the h2s and h3s and making them into a bulleted list for the featured snippet, then I like to give them the option to just take a...
Results will vary depending on the site and niche, so the best thing to do is test it yourself. Have one page with a comparison table, one page with a list, one page with both, and one page with none. See what page makes you the most money and go with that. Take into consideration the product...
Organisation has been a struggle for me for years, but in the end I figured it was best to just keep it simple.
I don’t use any fancy tools, just plain old spreadsheets.
Every project I have has its own folder on my PC, I just use the standard Windows folders for simplicity. Everything is in...
I still use Amazon, although it’s not as big a percentage of my earnings as it used to be. Like a lot of folks on here, I’m transitioning to more informational content. I’ll probably always use Amazon as long as I’m building sites, the range of products and the fact that everyone uses them are...
100% agree with most of what you have said, although when I started my first guest posting campaign I had no prior experience and I never had any formal education on the subject. 3 years later, I now have the confidence in my ability and the systems in place that I could easily get 20 – 30 links...
This is so true, and it's becoming truer with every year that passes. Most sites that have any kind of authority or traffic know that they can charge a fee for every guest post.
There are still a lot of sites out there that don't charge, it's just taking longer to find them.
My last guest...
I tried Linkwhisper but I wasn't too keen on it. It saved a lot of time, but I wasn't happy with some of the suggestions and could see no easy way to change the anchor text from within the plugin section on each article.
