Why I'm moving Away from Niche Sites + My Next BIG Goal

Putting the cart before the horse, isn't it?

Who's going in on CryptoCurrencies? XRP - Bitcoin

Not going to lie, the last time I really messed with crypto was when bitcoin reached $18k a few years back. Logged into the old Coinbase account less than a week ago after seeing the Shiba crazy, bought some, sold some for a decent return a day later, now I'm addicted. Straight gambling...

BuSo should have a premium network that holds on-site events, etc.

Should just have a weekly Google Hangouts or Skype session where we all drink beer and play virtual poker.

Are AI content writing software/services any good?

In my experience using Jarvis, it's good for smaller pieces like @stackcash said. Ecommerce product descriptions, blog intros & conclusions, quick-hitting FAQs, sentence/short paragraph rewriting, meta descriptions, things like that. About as useful as your numpad for writing whole articles.

Spun spam sites earnings went up 3x

The only thing that irritates me from your post is that Sturgis is in South Dakota, not North Dakota. Unless, of course, you're literally targeting people that search for incorrect stuff like that.

Hubspot Professional - Opinions and Experiences?

If they're convinced, they're convinced. With that being said, I would never recommend HubSpot to a friend. After working with it and being the consultant for a number of projects both onboarding and doing "advanced" automation for clients as well as in-house, HubSpot is great at being...

Content Strategy - Ads vs. Affiliate marketing

You gotta be pickier with keyword selection, so start with monetization in mind. Find out how you can capitalize on post-purchase intent keywords with offers. That might be an add-on or upsell that's a solution to their problem. It may be partnering with a solutions provider to drive qualified...

Should I Use a Fake Persona for Privacy on my Site?

Same. Have had my face on sites for years ranging from the job board to straight-up adult websites talking about the best big booty pornstars. Not a single thing has ever come of it. People think other people care about them more than they do.

What would you ask a higher end marketer?

On the sales front, smart marketing automation for sales enablement & with that, how to get your sales team to 1. Use the tools at their disposal 2. Relay feedback about what's working, what's not, and what additional needs they have? It seems salespeople fall into a few archetypes: the phone...

Is my plan silly? I have started a service business and want to use it for authority in the niche

You will become a juggernaut in whatever industry you're in once those out-of-state inquiries start rolling in. There are similar services in those states, and those companies need customers. You form partnerships and start selling leads to those businesses.

STDDIOT - Stuff That Doesn't Deserve Its Own Thread

Event tracking of affiliate clicks for one of my sites. Legitimate people, I had to disable email notifications for referrals/leads. Bad news in the media means good news for me. The "vs" articles I made a while back in my lab thread worked out for me. BRB making a course over it now. "Is...

Facts. Unfortunately, it's averaging less than $300/mo so the better options are...who knows. Deleted Facebook a while ago so no groups there, and the site is a hair more complex than articles & Azon.

    Starting a simple SaaS as a non-dev...

Well, about 20 minutes after the original post I bought it, installed it, verified with Stripe to accept payments, whipped up some ads, and put them on my main website. Waiting for that first $ to come in... In the meantime, watching videos about Bootstrap & exploring Visual Studio Code, or at...

    Starting a simple SaaS as a non-dev...

tl;dr I want to buy a PHP script from CodeCanyon to start a SaaS and sell it to my existing audience. Any advice before I start, things to look out for, etc? Like a lot of us here, I'm capable of one-click installing WordPress and configuring plugins. A little page builder action here and there...

Inheriting a Profitable Bastard Child Website, WWYD?

I fart around a bit in the adult space. That's entirely false. People are buying & selling straight dick-em-down hardcore adult sites on the regular. If you're looking for advice from people in the industry, sign up on xbiz.net. Avoid gfy.com, just a bunch of bums and industry cynics.

Whatever happened to the sites you sold?

I've only sold 1 of my sites, my 1st one. Started in Jan 2016, sold on Nov 1st, 2016 after the highest earning affiliate partner closed my account. It was a sloppy site with sub cent per word content and looking back the only reason it ranked at all was that I was the second site in the...

Replacing ads & affiliates with your own product

@bernard There are definitely levels of magnitude to this shit. And funny enough, while it seems like going from affiliate to ecommerce takes some serious workload, it's easier than going from $0 to $1 earned online. It's almost like there is an inverse relationship between the perceived...

Replacing ads & affiliates with your own product

I've done this with low-cost digital products (resume/portfolio templates), and now I don't even mess with B2C/consumer goods, so my case will differ. If you don't want to start with prototyping, importing, shipping, all the nOnPaSsIvE stuff, I would start by drop shipping. Find a [your...
