This looks like "let's remake wordpress and then put the most popular plugins into it built in and see if that gives us enough of an edge to overtake them in the market!"
That's not to say it doesn't look good or doesn't work. I just don't see any innovation going on.
Speaking of Tony Robbins, I read Unlimited Power and Awaken the Giant Within about five years ago.
Unlimited Power was amazing. It was scholarly and deep and introduced me to a lot of the neurolinguistic programming material plus more. Awaken the Giant Within seemed more like a business move...
I read about someone... Tim Ferris or Steve Pavlina or one of those self-help gurus who claimed to have pulled off the Uberman for a month or two before it started to feel normal and before they could function normally. But they eventually broke from it because the wife and children simply...
What's your opinions on smart watches?
I stopped wearing a watch ages ago due to carrying a cell phone around. I felt it was redundant since I wasn't wearing nice business watches for appearance. I've been knowing this Smart Watch thing was coming for a couple years due to my Wired magazine...
@Samwise89
I came across this link today and gave it a read. It's real solid and also provides you with an Excel and Word file that are templates for the work you need to be doing. It documents everything real nice for you as you go through the work of contacting everyone...
Wow. Good job everyone!
I started playing with Amazon a little bit a few months ago. It's finally starting to happen:
Nothing amazing but it's a start and a realistic vision for newbs! Gotta start somewhere :)
I'm really trying to figure out my next move. Do I push the sites I have further? I'm at that wall where it's going to take more effort. Or I can roll out another site at an easy niche and knock down some more income quicker. Then I could turn that income around and reinvest. Not sure.
For...
I hear a lot about these guys: http://www.mddhosting.com MDD Hosting, but I haven't tried them yet. Next time I need a server I'll give it a whirl and let you guys know.
Every study I've seen says that social signals are HIGHLY correlated to higher rankings. They key words here are highly and correlated.
It's got to be important if it's that highly correlated, but that doesn't mean they are causative factors.
So the questions is are they causative or not...
Sennheiser HD280's here! I'm not a big audio person but I wanted an affordable but nice pair of "circumaural" headphones. The kind that sit OVER and AROUND your ear to block out other sounds completely. No open back. Worked out nicely. I've had them for almost a decade. They have a lil...
Welcome!
Holy moley, you've got the coding world in the palm of your hand. I started trying to learn Ruby, didn't feel like there was enough resources out there, but I loved the "readability" of the code. I started tinkering with Python and it was still okay. But I feel like ultimately I'd...
So I'm finally somewhat successful at all of this. I work with easier and smaller sites which ramp up to their full potential rather fast compared to a big authority, and I make them in batches of three's so I have plenty aging.
Here's the dilemma I face and I'd like your input:
Should I keep...
Maybe what you can do is move yourself on to *Phase 2* and get some virtual assistants pounding out these sites with some guide you make. That way this can scale and you can get back to having fun new adventures. I agree about getting bored with the same old projects, even if they are doing good.
LOL I've heard of Counter Strike, but I don't know what PCMR is and now I'm scared...
I played Doom on 3.5 floppy disc back in the day if that counts. Slaying demons on Mars!
Mandalay, welcome to the forum! Let me try to help you fix your expectations.
You aren't going to get traffic from search engines right off the bat. You have to get indexed and then your domain has to become powerful enough that it outranks other sites. That takes time. And links. And you...
Oh man, I have so many 5 star movies on Netflix.
Off the top of my head, check out the one called Ponty Pool. or Pontypool. One of those, can't remember how they spell it. It's ridiculously good.
So here's the situation. I had a post on a site that really took off with natural links from some decent bigger sites. Let's say my niche is "blue widgets." I made the post "Best Blue Widgets of 2013"... and now it's halfway through 2014 and the new post isn't taking off nearly like it did...
