Our friend Nick Eubanks and his team created a crazy good plugin that helps with your outbound link building efforts. Check out the video:

There is an always free version which the video goes over. The paid version in the future will allow sending from Amazon SES.

Main site: LinkBuildr WordPress Plugin

Doing this type of email send for each blog post you create is a tremendous "little step" in getting more referring traffic, social traffic due to the ego-baiting, and more importantly it will allow you to start establishing relationships with people you may not know by "adding value" first versus trying to go for an ask first - which almost never works.

I hate WordPress though, but this plugin has creating ideas already on different ways to get your foot in the door with authors and future collaborations. I'm going to get this into the workflow process of some of the last WP installs I got and see what it can do.

Imagine sending an ego-bait email to a user that has 10K-50K users in a FB group or email list and they send it to their audience. Then collaborating with them for a future article or series of posts that you then both promote to each other's audiences cross-pollinating the audiences. That dynamic-duo scenario makes for power moments in time to grow your brand awareness and create new potential revenue opportunities.

Damn - this is smart.

Is anyone using this and have any thoughts on it?

Thanks so much for checking it out @CCarter!!

We just pushed out a new release last week (version 1.2.1) which includes support for importing contact lists.

The next set of updates will include:
  • Integration with Hunter.io for automatically finding email addresses at the domain level (including our internal scoring process for sending to the "best fit" email first)
  • Integration with Amazon SES for deliverability (As Carter mentioned)
  • Integration with Mailchimp (to automatically leverage existing email subscribers in your sub database).
Then we will be working on supporting sending notifications via Twitter, FB Messenger, and LinkedIn with the ability to set contact channel preference and fallback options for each contact.

Super Ping Backs

This is gonna be huge.

Can you please post an update in this thread once these are out? These features seem central to the automation part
