How do you guys track your progress for your affiliate sites?

I'm currently using a spreadsheet, but it's kind of time intensive.

What I'm tracking: words published, organic viewers, referring domains, and commissions. Anything else I'm missing?

I generally track:

• Income
• Expenses
• Profit
• Run Total
• Pageviews
• RPM
• EPM

Income and expenses are itemized in lists and then pulled into the table. Sometimes I'll do like you do and also track organic traffic separately if it's mainly an SEO project. It just depends on what metrics interest you, what metrics matter to a buyer of your project later, which metrics will help you improve the project, etc.

Tracking is all good and fine, until you myopically optimize for them and neglect other areas.

Revenue Per Mille and Earnings Per Mille, one being based on revenue and one based on profit.

Oh, I see, my bad. I had a typo. It's not EMP (electromagnetic pulse), it's EPM.
