Find out for which keywords a competitor is ranking

Hello guys,

I am a student and have less money. However, I would like to find out in my niche for which keywords my competitors are ranking? Is there an inexpensive/free way to get this information?

Try using follow.net extension for google chrome.
It gives you a good landscape on your competitors.

Another way to do it, long winded but works.

Grab screaming frog (google for link), crawl the competition. Export the h1, titles (remove default crap) to give you a list. Remove dupes and run the keywords through your fave keyword tracker and see if they rank for them.

Semrush is the best option for it. You can do it cheap to. On Fiverr.com you have packages for 5 dollar to get acces to a Semrush account for 14 days. This should be enough to get all the data you need from your competitors.

I just use SimilarWeb. Gives me the top 5-8 keywords that my competitor's getting the most traffic from.

go in google adwords and search by url. Try each important url they have and look at the keywords adwords think this page is about. Compile those keywords in a list, remove the duplicates, throw the keywords in https://www.serplab.co.uk/ to see where they are ranking.
