Interesting. As i've been studying up on G-News updates, I just found a story about WhatsApp private chats getting indexed by Google search: https://www.searchenginejournal.com...inks-to-private-whatsapp-groups/350724/#close
While this is likely a loophole that's being closed, i've also found people saying that these chats were good for sharing links. Sort of like reddit giving some slight gainage in non-competitive keyword searches. IT could also be used to ping google about a new page, for sites that index slow.
