Disable on your own site. I'd probably disable them elsewhere too.
It's just "hey, this page linked to our page, so now we're linking back automatically." It's a recipe for disaster and easy to spam. Nothing good comes out of them for any legit site. Just leaking juice and creating reciprocal links.
