I inherited a client site built entirely in elementor. Rankings and traffic have plateaued and one of our issues is pagespeed.

We recreated a few pages using Oxygen and got it into pagespeed green easily for mobile and desktop.

So, at the advice of many here, we're switching everything to oxygen, which requires a total site overhaul of a few hundred pages.

Other than keeping the content and layout exactly the same and all the URLs exactly the same, any other warnings about doing an overhaul like this to Oxygen? I dont want to accidentally tank our rankings because of overlooking some technical detail.

There will be a ranking drop.

Depending on your domain authority, it can be as little as 24 hours OR months. Whenever HTML changes significantly, and Google notices a massive change to the HTML structure, you'll get put in a "timeout" until they re-evaluate.

NOW if you are critical to Google since they send you a lot of traffic, think Lebron James value to the NBA, your timeout might be as little as 24 hours.

But if you are some unknown entity barely getting visits from Google, unknown street baller, they'll take their time. Quite frankly there is no reason to rush for them since you might be a spammer or doing some "SEO", which they frown up.
