I'm looking for a solution to collect and display simple 5 star ratings on a page.
The functionality would be a simple 5 star display that someone can vote on. submitting a rating should be available to anyone and submitting validates and saves the rating. the page displays the average rating out of 5 and the number of votes. I'd then do the custom schema markup which is really the whole reason for creating this - getting stars showing in search.
I know there are many plugins to do this, I just don't know which ones are good/bad/bloated and what I need is pretty simple.
I'd also be happy to code it on my own without a plugin, if someone had an example or guidance it would be much appreciated.
