Just wanted to chime in and say SERPWOO is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I've been using it since the BETA stage and the improvements have consistently blown me away.

Jason and Carter are just crushing it at every step of the way. If you want to know what tool people who make over $1M on a single website sale use, well this is folks. Serpwoo was my saving grace for all things data. $50 ish bucks a month, a no brainier to get it...

My favorite feature is the Keyword Tool (I'm a keyword data nerd at heart), but I love the monitor mentions, global stats, rank tracing, etc. I had semrush for awhile, but dropped it and use Serpwoo now. Nothing else online even compares. Give me accuracy or give me nothing.

Do yourself a favor and just try it out. I was never asked to endorse Serpwoo, but felt so happy with it that I had to drop a quick praising comment. Good stuff!

Second I want to ask how SerpWoo could be benificial for a newbie like me who just started up?

ZORA is going to be the easiest thing to get started.

You input a keywords and then ZORA visits each of the top 100 results and analyzes all the elements on each page and figures out which elements are important when looking at the top results. Then it compares that to YOUR page and tells you what you need to add so your on-page is in line with the top results.

Example: You might be targeting "car insurance in Montana", and ZORA realizes that specific cities are coming up on the other pages in the top 3 results like "auto insurance Billings, MT" and some other phrases in their H2 tags.

It will then look at your page and see "Hey you do not have these phrases in your H2 tags" like the top results do. "You should add these phrases to your H2" tags.

Here is an example of one of the early beta testers, lost his rankings then implemented ZORA suggestions and a bit later the end results:

I've been busy and distracted, and just now realized there's a "SERP Anomalies" feature. Is that new/new-ish?

That's a killer feature for being able to get a quick and dirty bird's eye view of what your competitors may be doing that you shouldn't and, more importantly, what your competitors are doing that you should consider doing, along with picking up on weird SERP activity.

Someone in my niche dropped from No. 3 to about No. 80 for the kind of keyword generations could retire off of.

Is that new/new-ish?

It was quietly launched to have it interact with users' data and get some reactions, we are still tweaking the algorithms, so things may change, but yeah... it's powerful.

For all your keywords, we are currently monitoring ALL the domains which have drops from Top 3 to massively out of the rankings and reporting it. So you can now see when your competitors are dropping, and you can sort by aggregated data and input a direct competitor to see their drops - and of course export that CSV/Excel.

There is a lot more exciting stuff we'll be announcing down the road but this is the first of many...

Hey quick question about this. Would getting all these backlinks you should get you penalized or lose rankings on google or nah? I only ask cus I used to follow another guy on YT who showed me how to get do follow high DR sites now I know that site had AI content and stuff but it still sorta got penalized/lost rankings.

Anyone else seen a benefit from getting these links? Or penalized/in trouble?

Depends.

How many you are eating and how frequently? The answer to that, determines if you get fat or not.

Your question is the same.

Are you using AI content? Are all of your links do follow only? Are they all high DR? Do they all have the same anchor?

Your question brings up 100 other ones that will determine if you get penalized or not.

We've got a massive announcement for everyone. SERP Anomalies are here!!!

All Projects View

Within the All Projects View you now see some new columns (all customizable):

The circled green columns are the ranking positions. Like the old V3 interface, you can now see how many top #1, #2-5, #6-10, and #11-20 ranking positions each project has. This is all customizable, so you can switch on and off columns now.

The circled pink column are the "Anomalies" - here we go...

SERP Anomalies

Well, let's start with one user that noticed it some weeks back and what they thought:

As the customer noted above this new feature allows you see a bird's eye view of ALL activities within the keywords of your SERPs.

And the great thing, YOU DO NOT HAVE TO MONITOR ANY OF THE DOMAINS/URLS.

We automatically monitor everything and you can filter by domain or keyword. In the above customer testimonial he states he was able to see a competitors drop for a single term that could change the course of their life. Now if there is a domain taking a major hit wihin your keywords you will automatically see it.

What do I mean? Let take a look at some roofer example:

Here you'll can see several domains have dropped within the keywords for this project. One of them is this particular roofing company:

Using the filter you can see all the terms that were impacted during this "Anomoly" for this domain. This is perfect to look at during and after a major Google algorithm update. You will know the EXACT keywords your competitors dropped for and how much - without needing the leg work of hunting.

The current set of Anomalies are for domains/URLs dropping significantly. We are working on other sets of anomalies, and based off of your feedback we want to bring customizable scenarios to detect your own set of anomalies.

But we need feedback for that!!

Also this might be a good time to plug - the more keywords inside your projects the better, you'll have a wider overview of what's going on within your keywords' SERPs.

That worked - also looks like the main site is back up.

Looks like ZORA is still getting stuck in "Loading..." and the roadmap won't populate; I also noticed that on Sunday too.

If needed I can pop over a screenshot/GIF via PM. I've tried a few different browsers and clearing my DNS cache.

We fixed that bug. In the chaos an updated version of ZORA was launched that was not supposed to be launched yet causing the problem. We reverted back successfully. Log out and log back in and you should be good to go now.
