Hi - is it normal to see a massive diffrence in traffic between search console and analytics?
25th July - analytics reports 1030 visitors from natural search with google filtered
Same day reports 405 clicks in search console and 17k impressions.

This is not a strange day that has odd data its normal for me to see this gap, is this something anyone can help explain?

Thanks

Are you sure you're looking at Visitors vs. Visitors and not Users vs. Sessions or anything like that?

Search Console filters bot traffic way better since it's deriving it's data from Google's own clickstream, which they're going to be updating and paying better attention to than filtering bots from Analytics. They do filter some bots there, but they offer the means for you to do it yourself too.

I don't think there's a great answer to this timeless question. There's been a lot of discussion about it over the years and it always ends up with some roundabout answer that's vague and unclear or goes off-topic, mainly because nobody knows.
