I know how much I can make per visitor with search engine traffic for certain keywords and for social traffic and now I want to try paid traffic. Besides adwords and facebook is there anywhere else I should look? I saw a few older threads on other forums and also found 7 search and taboola. Are either of those worth trying out? I want to test out different ones but if there are some that I should avoid I want to avoid them and if there are some that are better in general I want to try them first.. Thanks!!!

7search I played with a few years ago and traffic quality was horrible.
However, traffic from there is dirt cheap so a bit of experimentation won't hurt your wallet.

If ROI is positive, you win.

Not sure how up-to-date these lists are, but it just goes to show how many sources are out there. Most people tend to run towards the largest platforms...but those smaller / less utilized sources have plenty of ROI potential. Especially for beginners who don't have the budget to compete against people with more experience and larger budgets.

7Search is literally bot traffic and old people caught in parked domain loops. Complete trash and waste of money, even at 1 cent per click.

If you're doing general PPC, stick to the 80/20...

Just do Adwords and Facebook. Id throw in MSN and possibly a display network, but thats it.

Isn't stuff like this used mainly to hike up the site visitors statistics to get a better price for advert space on your sites?

Pretty sure a lot of digital magazines etc do this.

Adwords is the best, fair price and high convert. But I heard that its no good for Affiliate products. (Google Ban)

How did you make it out of the screening section unbanned?

I'm confused.

I only ran adwords for 2 days before i found out that its against their policy. I stopped the campaign my self after that before getting banned

But during that time, every click resulted in a sale. I was wondering about Dropshipping, I don’t thing google would know the difference from a drop shipper and a retailer that warehouses merchandise.

with affiliate links, its easy to spot

@Murk - Droppshipping is perfectly fine with Google... they just seem to hate affiliates.
