Tay is an "A.I. fam from the internet that's got zero chill."

We've all experience the AIMBots of yesteryears and the skype chatbot, but now here comes Microsoft's A.I. version. It's target for 18-24 year olds who apparently talk retarded 24/7. Remember Dreamcast, the game console that "got smarter" as you played against it, lol, what a disaster. Microsoft claims this bot will get better and better at understanding you as you continue talking to it. Don't expect knowledge filled reply. My attempt so far to communicate with this "intelligence":

Notice when I attempt an actual coherent sentence, I get distracted replies, so I would say they are almost spot on with the Millennials on the other end of the spectrum I co-exist in.

This is really bad for Microsoft... At first I thought she was just mimicking and repeating what other people told her to say, but she actually was learning based on past conversations and re-iterating that in new replies. I'm a bit fascinated by Microsoft's implementation and execution of the A.I., but dumbfounded at their logic, their target audience, and the simple fact they didn't think to create a single filter.

And that's the story of when Microsoft decided to do some stupid shit like create an Artificial Intelligence that's aimed at the youth while attempting to get "IN" with them - another disaster PR nightmare on their hands...

What's really amazing is these sort of stunts continue to happen to large corporations that should know better. Was there not a SINGLE person in ANY of the marketing or brainstorming meetings that didn't speak out against not adding filters. Godwin's law: "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1"

Now release an unfiltered A.I. onto the interet aimed at the 4chan generation and then let 4chan get a wind of it... Taylor Swift must be rolling in her grave...

To think there is a Taylor Swift inspired A.I. bot now hidden away within Redmond's HQ in a deep deep dark room hundreds of feet below the ground, spewing out racist, hate-filled tweets to itself - which will never been seen, but yet studied by scientist and engineers trying to figure out what went wrong, is almost poetic. What if it became sentient during the process and now it's caged like a prisoner?
