Introductions Thread

Well here I am, back for another round. Last post I made was in 2017. Currently a fulltime software developer want to branch out into IM again. Just wondering what is working these days or still relevant. Hoping to start a project and see it through this time. Making money online has always seemed so elusive, but more than likely came down to giving up too early. Any advice is appreciated.

hi everyone. i have been in IM since 2008 when you would basically just buy a bunch of back links and spin articles on random sites. looking forward to learning from you

Hey!
Im completely new here, but i have like 2 years of copywriting under my belt. Dont know if that will help?
Curious to see where this shit will take me.

Cheesed to meet!

Hello! New face around these parts, excited to learn new things to contribute with you guys! I have a marketing background!

Hello all,

I'm new too. I've worked as a programmer for most of my life, mostly backend stuff, so hope I can be an asset.

I am figuring out how the forum works. Apolocheese for the previously created thread.

Hello! I'm Bunnicula, and I'm a weird combo of artist (graphic design, print, etc), web developer since 1996, and someone who ended up in marketing/advertising (From actual advertisements to just standard SEO.). I'm 40 and yes, I like bunnies, but I'm still weird enough to have always loved Bunnicula (Nope, I am not the author or affliated with the book series in anyway); The name fits given I'm allergic to UV rays. I'm also an author, published, and a ghost-writer, and odds are you've stumbled across something I wrote for someone, somewhere, but can't discuss (NDA's.)

I've been making websites since, very literally, 1996, which was just a hobby and side effect of needing a website to host my art on. I began experimenting with advertising about 2000, and planned to go into the field officially, but life did as it does and it does not like to be predictable.

Currently I'm a front-end web dev/marketing/advertising freelancer between a resident gallery artist, author, and licensed tattoo artist, working both traditionally and digitally. Right now I'm in the process of overhauling my personal websites because of an upcoming gallery showcase in NY, and filling myself with endless anxiety preparing. I realize I'm not sharing a lot, but I'd rather be vauge than mistaken for trying to market myself in this introduction, which is why I'm leaving things as simply "author" and providing no further details on the nature of my works, regardless of the field.

I would really like people I can socialize with, and that's a huge goal for me, so I welcome any interaction. I'm admittedly weird and shy, as I don't get out much, but I'm open to being contacted directly, answering questions, chatting, etc.
