How do you find websites that aren't already being heavily 'leaked'

I know once you're in a particular niche it isn't hard to Google around and see what active communities there are, etc. However, there are loads of websites out there that get a lot of traffic and aren't being heavily automated/botted like twitter, tumbly, etsy, etc. How do you discover these sites? Besides going to alexa and looking through all the top sites...

If a website isn't already being heavily leaked, they probably don't have the traffic numbers or their security is too good. But if they don't have the traffic numbers, do they have the traffic quality to justify spending the time on it? (I know this doesn't answer your question)

Or perhaps it's not finding new websites to leak at all. Maybe it's finding a new method to leak the same websites.

serpwoo may be a good place to start
