Groupon Affiliate, barrier to entry?

Anyone out there have any insight into becoming a groupon affiliate?

IE what are the barriers to entry, is it a good program to be involved with, things to look out for?

I've not used it but I'd say to try it and let us know.

I'm not a Groupon user. I understand that some big brands are on there but aren't nearly all of the promotions local to some degree? Are they local campaigns or national campaigns that each local store is made to take part of?

I'd think it'd do well, especially on a page you kept updated and fresh for other sales, deals, and coupons for your vertical. You could email and do facebook ads and whatever to it constantly too.
