It's April. First quarter of 2017 has flown by. It's time to go back to March and update your goals - whether in defeat or victory, there is a lesson in all of it. It's also an opportune time to re-visit and re-affirm your year 2017 goals to make sure you are on the right course.

There are ups and downs at every corner, don't let the world distract you from achieving all that you can. Focus in on your desires and execute with precision to the point the world re-aligns itself to your will. The solutions have always been within you - within your grasp.
 
Bam! Let's smash this month out of the park.

My Goals:
  • Bare minimum content up ready for linking and traffic leaking. (15 pages up - excluding 'home', 'about', 'contact' etc) – refer friends who fit ideal customer and get feedback
  • Make a complete list of people I want to build relationship with in the vertical/niche - figure out how to communicate with them and get on their radar.
  • 200 followers on Pinterest
  • Play with traffic leaks. Done at least 10 posts/comments/whatever to practice this skillset (note: none of these posts have to send traffic to my site - purpose it to get a feel for it first)
 
This month I'll be focusing mostly on my MFA/Review Site
Here are the Goals
  • Post atleast 10 articles/week.
  • Social Accounts/Profiles for Domain Trust
  • Monetize it.
  • Traffic Leaks
  • Backlinks and Content Outreach
 
Main Site: As much content as humanly possible. I'm outsourcing to writers and editing right now, squeezing in my own writing as I can. I'm going to do this while I'm motivated and ultimately move into full-time editing & prepping huge link-bait posts. Eventually I'll hire a few writers and an editor and get to where I'm feeding them topics and outlines to go with them, and then going in after the editor and optimizing the posts. But for now it's a content rush as hard as I can go.

Flip Site: Gonna let these 10 high powered links simmer and see what happens.

JV Site: We've begun scoring links to rank the 2 main pages for insanely valuable terms. I'm about to run monthly numbers and see how much we'll have to reinvest for more links. That's all this site is now... reinvest for links till it's earning a crazy amount.
 
Main Site
  • Master the process & workflow of outsourcing content.
  • Explore outsourcing outreach, emailing, and link building.
  • Push out as much content as humanly possible.
  • Identify digital product creation opportunities in my niche & continue to move away from sole reliance on affiliate networks
Other/Extra
  • Maintain leaking efforts to another small affiliate site.
    • Create a quiz to leak to.
  • Start practicing with daily Reddit submissions from a few accounts & scrape some info.
 
Main site
  • Set up Advanced Custom Fields content
  • Populate those
  • 20+ main pages

Other
  • Ruthlessly cut down number of projects
  • Learn more python
 
eCommerce:
  • Integrate all my projects social media and figure out the workflow for each platform
  • Finished porting all relevant old blog post to new eCommerce blog
  • Launch eCommerce by 2 week of April
  • Get started on FaceBook ads and sales
  • Start honing into my demographic and their psychology
Personal:
  • Figure out work and life balance
 
  • Step up client work to fund next content brand. Acquire 5 new clients.
  • Research 3-5 niches for content brand and settle on 1.
  • In spare time, create streamlined content templates and formulas that are fully compatible with outsourcing.
 
SEO Empire:
  • Keep ranking my current 6 sites (2 Amazon, 2 ClickBank, 1 ClickBetter, 1 SellHealth)
  • Make more than 37 cents
  • Add 3 more Amazon affiliate websites, 2 more ClickBank
  • Create and follow SEO content campaign for my authority-to-be sites in weight loss, dating/alpha male and internet marketing niches
  • Test out escort services empire and see if it's profitable niche
SEO Services:
  • Keep hustlin'
Personal:
  • Have a good time DJing and dancing in Bristol, Norway and Birmingham
  • Sort out my May's travels: Croatia (first weekend of May), Titchfield (second weekend), Lithuania (3rd weekend), Kingston Upon Hull (fourth and last weekend of May). Book flights/accommodation, etc ... (I mean, do at least 2 trips)
  • Join gym
  • Keep dancing
  • Live to the fullest
 
My goals for April are to finish my projects #1 and #2 till the end.
 
I only have 1 project to focus on for the foreseeable future so I should be able to make some good progress.

Content
• Create/outsource the remaining 6 money articles to complete the first vertical in my niche
• Create/outsource at least 20 supporting articles
• Do keyword research and prepare a batch of articles in the second vertical in my niche

Marketing/SEO
• Build some manual blog comments on relevant blogs. The minimum will be 30 but I will aim for 3 – 5 per day
• Buy at least 10 strong , contextual links (not PBNs) pointing to my most profitable pages
• Buy at least 5 strong , contextual links (not PBNs) pointing to my homepage
• Answer/create at least 10 questions on Quora

Other
• Create/outsource a logo for the site. The theme I am using has the option to use fancy text as a logo which I have been using, but now is the time to design and create a proper logo for branding purposes
 
Domains / Sites
  • Categorize all domains & develop a game plan around 3 niches and 3 sets of social accounts.
  • Sell at least 1 domain at premium for some funds.
  • Buy a site that's getting good traffic (Flippa or ?), preferably in either biz or self-help niche.
Content
  • Daily practicing a content routine like @Dariush laid out. No waffling, just go sequentially down the process chart.
  • Once content routine is established, start programmatically plugging in outsourcers (mechanical turk?) at one or more points in the procedural workflow.
  • Some type of Geckoboard setup where I can watch post counts on sites increase (as well as G.Analytics). Got to get some dopamine pings to reinforce my writing habit.
General Productivity
  • Come up with a better system for remembering to do stuff than leaving tabs open in browser. 50+ tabs open across multiple browsers is just draining my morale right now.

• Do keyword research and prepare a batch of articles in the second niche in my vertical - FAIL: I have decided to focus all my efforts into marketing and get the site earning before moving on to more content

Domains / Sites
Got domain offer ($1200) on a 4L .org and should've closed on an un-monetized site ($600). Both fell through when other party bailed. Out of my hands, but bummed out by the FAIL
  • Game plan around 3 niches and 3 sets of social accounts. FAIL - didn't get to it.
Content

Got to get some dopamine pings to reinforce my writing habit. Work in progress - I really need to up my API game but this is going to take some time.
General Productivity
  • Come up with a better system for remembering to do stuff than leaving tabs open in browser. 50+ tabs open.. DONE Papaly.com + its chrome extension to punt tabs to themed stacks.
And I'm glad I made some goals b/c right now I can see that I suck at making them. I can look back at where I was over-optimistic, but it's all good feedback for the next go around.

May will be about cutting the fat and low ROI things that have been sucking my time and mental energy, freeing up space to focus on this fully.

  • Traffic Leaks ONGOING (Still in learning mode)
  • Backlinks and Content Outreach FAILED (Only nofollow links from web 2.0 sites and profiles, no promotion)
 
SEO Empire:
  • Keep ranking my current 6 sites (2 Amazon, 2 ClickBank, 1 ClickBetter, 1 SellHealth) DONE (still dancing but slowly getting up and up so it's a good thing!)
  • Make more than 37 cents DONE (made $1.67)
  • Add 3 more Amazon affiliate websites, 2 more ClickBank IN-PROGRESS (got couple CB sites, 0 new Amazon affiliate sites)
  • Create and follow SEO content campaign for my authority-to-be sites in weight loss, dating/alpha male and internet marketing niches DONE
  • Test out escort services empire and see if it's profitable niche ONGOING (I get click but no revenue, might be too early to judge, rank on page 2, need to push harder)
SEO Services:
  • Keep hustlin' DONE (getting new clients, retaining old ones, etc ...)
Personal:
  • Have a good time DJing and dancing in Bristol, Norway and Birmingham FAIL (Norway and Bristol did not happen, went to B'ham, had a great time. Also, got another 10 confirmed DJing gigs and another 10 in negotiation around the Europe).
  • Sort out my May's travels: Croatia (first weekend of May), Titchfield (second weekend), Lithuania (3rd weekend), Kingston Upon Hull (fourth and last weekend of May). Book flights/accommodation, etc ... (I mean, do at least 2 trips) DONE (kind of, going to Croatia, still sorting out Lithuania and Kingston upon Hull. Might switch Titchfield for Sweden).
  • Join gym FAIL (fuck gym, I dance a lot, it keeps me fit)
  • Keep dancing DONE
  • Live to the fullest DONE
