The only experience I've had buying websites was with a friend of mine, via a personal connection. We did quite well, earning out mid 5 figures over the next 2 years (a 12x ROI on purchase price).
I've got some capital that needs to be deployed, but do not have personal connections that are selling sites right now. Basically, I'm hunting like the peasants and would strongly prefer not to.
Would love to know from those of you who have purchased sites before where you looked that wasn't Flippa / Empire Flippers type of sites.
