Bing's moving up in the world, but most of their gains are coming from the decline of Yahoo so it's not really eating into the Big G's dominance (Which sits at just a sliver shy of 65%.) So two thirds of searches run through Google, but 95% of the SEO crowd seems to focus entirely on Google...

It's noteworthy that these numbers are only for desktops. A lot of people consuming media through mobile devices are doing so via FB and other social networks. Anecdotally from my experience, FB traffic can hit as high as 70-80% mobile. Food for thought.

The only time I've ranked in Bing is by accident, but at 20% that still leaves a lot of food on the table for some of the higher volume terms out there, not to mention that it's probably a less-savvy crowd which can be great for certain niches. Who are we kidding... it's all porn traffic, everybody knows Bing has the adult game on lock.

I have a site that used to pull down $2,000 a month in Adsense that I straight spammed. Eventually a lot of those links died and so did the rankings and I never bothered with it, but I've kept the domain and hosting live for years now because it still pulls in $50 a month. Pretty much every bit of that comes from Bing, where it's still ranking front page. (Bing is still very susceptible to spam. Don't trash a site if it drops from Google. Keep going hard at it and see what happens on Binghoo.)
