Hey builders

My present project's hosted on digitalocean(yes, stone me). Their name servers on pingdom tests take 0.1 to around 0.3-0.6 second to look-up, which is terrible.

Should I just use cloudflare name servers instead?

What's your experience with name servers? Which should I use?

I have had no problems with cloudflare, I use it for many of my websites. Gotta optimize those load times :D

Google offers a public DNS service which I am yet to try out. I have heard only good experiences from those who use it. Don't know whether that suits your purpose though.

Yea my vote for DNS too, I saw you went with it. I used to not like it but tried it out again recently and it helped a lot with speed.

Just to note for guys though, it is possible to reverse Cloudflare networks if anyone is using it for anonymity. I had to create a separate Cloudflare account for projects so it's harder to trace. There is some projects where I would prefer people didn't know I owned them.
