I don't see why you would deliberately deindex a domain. You can just focus 100% on traffic leaks and not pay any attention to SEO. Any organic traffic you get would be a bonus.
Damn. I never considered that either, because my open rate was pretty high. I ran one of my campaigns through it and I'm getting scores between 3-4/10 due to some wording (guarantees, etc.). Time to start tinkering. Thanks!
A second monitor is awesome and I wish I had bought one years earlier than I did. You just have to be able to resist the temptation of putting a movie on that second screen.
Anything without lyrics (or lyrics I can zone out) works for me and my choice just depends on my mood.
Some of my current favorites:
I would love to add opera and (death) metal, but I just can't concentrate while listening to most of it.
And if possible target some fans with opposing views to stir up controversy. People love to share things they have commented on or when they feel attacked. So in this case you would also target a few cat lover pages with a post about how dogs are better than cats.
The rates are the easiest part and I'm sure some blog posts will pop up soon enough with a handy list. http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/resources/documents/taxation/vat/how_vat_works/rates/vat_rates_en.pdf has an overview of all VAT rates, you just need to find the correct one. In almost all...
Definitely. If they apply this to physical goods it would crush one of my e-commerce sites. I would have to pay VAT in ~15-20 countries with different rates. In that case I would stop serving EU customers, because it would not be worth the hassle.
Non-digital goods have thresholds (€10-70k per country) below which you pay all VAT to your own country. So I have no clue why they are introducing these changes without including the same thresholds for digital services.
I have no idea why they are making the distinction in the first place...

Decent amount of traffic for a URL that has to be typed in rather than clicked. Though I guess it depends on how many times it was spammed.
This is still the case. All ID's use the following form: UA-12345678-X. The first number remains the same while the X (or X's if you have more than 10 sites on the same account) is a number that depends on when you added the site to your account. So that makes it really easy to track down all...

Definitely. Having a solid (earning) foundation that is not at risk of getting destroyed in the next few years is an awesome feeling. Even if the money it brings in isn't enough to live on, it will still provide a springboard for aggressive plays in separate projects. And I mean...
This. Excel is an awesome tool if you know your way around it. Every tool I have used so far isn't able to deal with the multiple currencies and VAT shenanigans that comes with selling products worldwide. Especially if you are not a US based company. As a bonus you can tie in your time...
Got an e-commerce project that would be perfect for this. It's in a competitive, but massive market with (I imagine) plenty of traffic leaking opportunities. Unfortunately I have no clue how to traffic leak properly as I only seen about 40 visitors for my trouble. In short: I want in.
