I was talking about this on Reddit a few days back, I think its being blown out of proportion, especially if it sticks to "product" search terms and not "best product" or "product reviews". I would imagine people are looking for different types of information with all three search types.

I would stick to relevant content rather than risk people unfollowing the social accounts. I would imagine there is a middle ground between Essential oils and articles you could publish onto your fitness site to pull traffic to it.
