If thewirecutter is generating around $10-11M yr net income then the sale price of $30M puts it in the 3x multiple which is inline with other comps. NYT does $1.5B+ yr in revenues so it's a drop in the bucket to them. They can point all those eyeballs from their other properties to wirecutter...
