As I confessed earlier, I am a bit of a CMS nerd.
I think CMSes can still become much cooler than they are right now.
Webflow - https://webflow.com/
Webflow is a fascinating new system right from the start.
Here are some reviews:
Digital.com has an in-depth analysis of webflow
Satori...
I don't agree on the financial hub.
If the UK leaves , London is dead.
The financial industry has been preparing for this moment for the last year (with estimations of up to 2/3rd of employees on this subject) and is leaving within the hour.
I used to live in Outlook.
Don't laugh - thing had everything. Tasks, notes, appointments, mail... And it synced BEAUTIFULLY with a Palm.
No other company got the sync right - not even M$ themselves.
Now... now I am just fuxored.
Good point.
The German DIY markets do that, too.
Here mainly newsletter bytes, actual brochures in the mail, youtube.
Twitter is not that common (yet).
Hannibal
If you want truly fucked up, check out Hannibal.
My wife would not continue watching.
Myself, I consider myself pretty hardened to movies, but that one is a treat.
Cinematography is top-notch as well.
Marcella
Marcella is fucked up in a special way.
We follow the woman in the title...
I have to admit, I am a CMS geek.
Even though it often feels as if there is no real news on the CMS front, here are a few game-changers.

There is a book called Growing Software that I can not recommend highly enough):

I wish I could put an aff link right here. :D...
That holds true for .nets, I agree.
They are not that far behind, though, getting better.
In localized markets (especially Europe), get the country extension.
e.g. .de, .it, ....
If you can get all three:
.[$local], .com,.net , then get all three for big / longterm projects.
I think this is the main takeaway.
German DIY markets were mentioned before.
Truly informational and compelling content (free tutorial videos, long-form articles, automated printable list of supplies,...) That almost naturally results in people buying.
If you can create this type of content...
Go to a bank. An actual, physical bank.
Speak face to face with someone who can look at your numbers and velocity.
As nice as "online" is, direct communication holds so much more power.
You are dodging the question.
“I need money so I can buy stuff” is not an answer.
What do you feel you need that you need multi-millions for?
I know it seems like I’m just teasing you, but you need to be clear on your WHY. Only that will motivate you.
And you will know if you’re trying to...
That does NOT mean
"...because I need to become a person who holds multi-million dollar bank statement."
So again..
Why do you need to become this person?
Hmm...
It is getting harder to stay hungry if you aren't.
So the question is - what truly motivates you?
Money stops being a motivator after a certain amount for a lot of people.
Your son? Building a future for HIM? Teaching him what can be achieved, being a role model?
Another project...
There is actually a technique for this called the 5 whys
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five_whys
It sounds dangerously simplistic, but getting through 5 levels is not always easy work, but is always rewarding.
