Thanks!
Looks like it, I thought it was sitebulb for a moment. I had a trial of it a while ago when comparing it to Xenu/Gephi internal link maps.
One thing I still haven't been able to do is create one of these maps while excluding menu navigation. Might revisit node labels in gephi, not...
Your weird shit doesn't go unappreciated. Especially now that you have your chat thread lol. Fartburn is real! This is a great community.
Haven't maintained a journal because I haven't felt like I was serious enough about this, at least not at the level you guys are at. I've been real...
If you use SERPWoo you can watch sites bounce back and forth and determine whether it's an individual change or if Google is adjusting the overall results. Watching the keyword can give you an idea of how long it takes to stabilize also which positions tend to remain stable. I watch SERPs that...
I don't think Google is making any assumptions and is likely looking at those as internal links, especially if you're seeing them in GSC. To be honest it reminded me to remove them from one of my sites. I'm assuming you're on wordpress. If so, don't add a plugin. You don't need any more bloat...
I would still link to the announcement page. The 1-1 match is to prevent soft 404s and to maintain rankings for specific phrases. For ex) "How to Install Blue Widgets" should match on the new site. People looking for the home or contact page are likely searching by brand anyway, so take them to...
I appreciate the brainstorming! I'm looking to make a simple call tracker by traffic channel. So javascript or jquery could work because I would only be switching a phone number.
I could avoid Google Analytics altogether and have it check $_SERVER["HTTP_REFERER"]; against a table of common...
I want to change page content based on the traffic source channel groupings in Google Analytics. There appears to be a solution that used to work before Universal analytics that parsed the cookie. I'm not sure this data is available anymore. Does anybody have any suggestions?
Not hating, it's clearly out there that there's more to his story than he leads on. I did listen to a good portion of that interview, he didn't break down how he got the money, just stated that it was from poker.
I find it hard to draw inspiration from any version of his story. Maybe there is a...
True, you don't want this full directory indexed but, you don't want to block Google from accessing images that you use within your content either. Otherwise Google will not discover and index your images. If you attempt to access your uploads directly (/wp-content/uploads/) and not the full...
Might actually be the SEC's money:

You could tone the keyword usage down and make it easier to navigate by breaking it out. Instead of:
Pine Watches
Oak Watches
Maple Watches
Mixed Wood Watches
etc...
Categorize it:
By Finish
Oak
Maple
Mixed Wood
Also, double check that you didn't accidentally put a noindex on any page. do a site:example.com search to see if you dropped from the index or just from ranking.
Did you try changing your user agent on the offending pages? They could be cloaking them.
I had a similar experience with a client site, I tried changing the user agent, didn't see anything on either page. Disavowed and moved on.
All you have to do is delete them. They'll eventually drop from the index. You can redirect them if there is a relevant replacement for it. If not Google will consider it a soft 404.
Google will look at a long term 302 as a mistake and assume you meant a 301. So really that won't do anything different. How old is your current domain? I would take domain age any day over starting a new domain. Who's to say this new domain won't get attacked again.
Hard to say without seeing...
What is different about it on the page content? Are you manually dropping html into your page content?
If you're sticking with the css hiding route, you could add a class used in a media query. So that the class is only used when the screen size is within a certain pixel range. (BoxF beat me to...
I'm trying to wrap my head around how conversions are reported between the Channels view (Source / Medium) and the Social Conversions report. I would have assumed that the social conversions report would show more revenue by including assisted conversions but that isn't the case...
I own a desktop PC, an iMac, a windows laptop, a chromebook and an ipad mini, I'm going to suggest going with what your most productive workflow is on. I could do the bulk of my work on a mac but I know that I'm significantly faster on a PC, so I keep that as my primary workflow. I could...
