So...I am feeling a bit sick right now. I sorta knew something was coming when over 5 grand just sat in webgains and I wasn't getting paid. As well as the fact Jan was a really low month for this particular campaign - which didn't seem right when it has been consistent for 2 years+

Well they have now taken 2600 out of my account balance and put "credited to another account". On 1st April as well like some sick joke. After reviewing the stats....there is no indication of more clicks being attributed to my account - its pretty much the same as usual comparing to other months including last year.

The company I am affiliate for has always been decent to me - really helpful via email etc as I have been an affiliate for them since beginning of 2010.

Is there anything I can actually do about this if they don't change their stance or they don't work it out with me? I am waiting for responses at the moment - but just wondering if anyone has been through this. I feel a bit sick of the idea of that income stream being shut down as I won't be able to trust them after this.

Sorry in advance if this is in the wrong place - didn't know where to post.

There's things you can try to do, but the effectiveness of those can't be judged if you don't tell us more about WHY this is happening. We can't assume innocence, guilt, accident, scam, or anything without more info. Do you have any more insight into the question of why?

Not yet unfortunately. I have had no responses..but I am guessing because of the weekend...so hopefully I will get one soon. Otherwise going to have to chase.

From my own digging and looking at stats...for me...there is nothing to suggest I have suddenly got extra clicks etc. and nothing looks dodgy apart from January being the lowest month in years - but I assumed that maybe people were holding off for Valetnine's day and this seems to be reasonable considering quite a few clicks from Jan got a sale before Valentine's Day.

So from what I have looked at myself - no more to "why" at the moment.

This has finally been sorted now. It was actually 4 grand missing over Jan and Feb. They paid me today.

It was basically a case of the company not having anyone doing that particular job for 2 years and suddenyl going into panic mode in December when they realised how affiliate cookies work.

Sorry for the panic on here. That would have sucked to have to try and replace that income at the moment in time.

That's good to hear. As I read this, I was thinking "it's almost always the case that the affiliate did something against the TOS and won't admit it." Glad to see it really was them messing up. You've restored some of the faith I've lost in reading posts like this.

$4k would be an undefeatable dent for me right now. Good job on following up and getting your rightful money!
