How would you go about creating something similar to what wirecutter does, were they list the last updates made and a nice expanded dropdown with all the updates made ?

Like they have here : http://thewirecutter.com/reviews/best-wi-fi-router/

I'm using wordpress, and tried doing it with some free shortcodes, and it looked shitty, and wasn't close as neat as they have it.

Is there a plugin to do this or a nice shortcode plugin to recreate this ?

Managed to create something what is working, and looks decent and clean.

What I did is, I used a simple toggl box with a title from mythemeshop shortcodes, and used anchors from wordpress, so user can click and jump to the last update.

The reason why it was ugly before is, that I overcomplicated things, by trying to combine multiple shortcodes and different colors. As usual, simplicity won.

I know that doing this is becoming increasingly popular in certain niches and some people have reported that sites doing it rank higher. Its probably a correlation between good sites also being sites that update their content. But, is there a schema tag or some other 'correct' way to signal to bots of when a page was last updated?

Are you referring to their table of contents section?

That can be replicated with this WP plugin
