I have been looking at his new web app:

https://monday.com/

And I like what I see, to be honest.

Anyone who has (as I do) a background in Jira/confluence wanna chime in?

Thanks.

I haven't used either of those, but just to add a little noise into the discussion: https://www.notion.so/ has been getting some buzz lately. I've poked around, it's cool, I haven't made the switch yet tho.

Damn Monday.com's design is beautiful

Actually went with Atlassian / Jira simply because everyone on the project knows it.

No need to increase friction.

<shrug>

Jira is industry standard & reputed to be complex most common with software projects

Me thinks trello with its keyboard shortcuts is superb & simple for anyother thing that doesnt need unneccesary complexity

looked at wrike, asana & co ...never looked at monday

I don't necessarily love Jira (it is completely braindead in some areas... e.g. subtasks and time sum)

It simply is the industry standard.

Notion.so is a glimpse into the future.
We would need something like that for wikis,etc...

Hmmm...
One could create a wiki of sorts in notion.
That would rock.
