    Introductions Thread

I do agree with the things @eliquid said. BUT don't let that discourage you from starting a site. You have had prior experience with SEO and content sites. Branching into a new field will only cost you more time, which will be a scarcity with your 9-5. It's nearly 2018. So please stop thinking...

Great Linkbait in the Wild - Post What You Find

Will Robots Take My Job? Another successful Linkbait, developed by Mubashar Iqbal, that gained some nice momentum in a short period of time. I initially stumbled upon it on ProductHunt where it was submitted on May 30, 2017. While looking at the backlink profile it looks like the exposure on PH...

    AdSense Native Ads

Was just about to post this, when I saw your thread under "Newest Posts". It's funny to see how Google is trying to make the ads blend in even more. Always thought that the Era with the Nessie Arrows will be short-lived since it's obvious that alot of clicks are unintentional and they want to...

Should I buy a .net? (Couldn't find any articles here on this.)

I would simply look for another domain name that has the .com version available. Whenever possible I try to avoid having one or more competitors with the same name on a different TLD. Especially in your case it would suck to brand your website name and still have people type in .com unconsciously.

Got Some Huge Haters Because of my site...

@Mahjong My reply wasn't targeted at OP. I was merely jumping in to give some feedback on your statement, because I still see people making claims like you did. Reddit should only be used when everything is 'perfectly' aligned. It's not a place to test the waters. It's a place where your...

Got Some Huge Haters Because of my site...

Alot of people get this one wrong with reddit. The ROI can be tremendous. Reddit never was and will be a platform to gain monetary rewards from it per se. Instead it should be treated as a platform to present and potentially get your content distributed outside. That's the point where the real...

Launching a SaaS - Initial Marketing Steps?

My initial reply was only an assumption of course. If you can tie your customers for a max of 5 years that's even better. If you are mostly interested in Traffic Leaking be sure to reread Day 12. But like I said. Sit down and create a real strategy. In your initial OP it seemed that you...

Launching a SaaS - Initial Marketing Steps?

Nr. 3 should be Nr.1. Building an email list is fine, but HOW are you going to do it? Building a social media following is fine, but HOW are you going to do it? You need a more specific approach to it. Just saying that you are going to promote it with social media isn't a valid marketing...

1 site or 50 (the question is now)

If you could go back to 2009 operating 50 sites would be the better choice. But right now it's far more sustainable to focus on 1 site and make it yuuugge. Not only will you have a hard time creating and managing 50 sites but also getting quality Backlinks. An operational nightmare. The whole...
