Good luck to you.
As far as hosting, I have a few different accounts with Host Winds. They've been excellent so far on speed and support, and they're not an EIG company if that's a concern.
I got the single site license at first which was $59, then upgraded to the unlimited site license once I saw that I liked it for another ~$38. So I'm in for $97. No monthly costs.
Thanks for the quick reply. I'm trying to focus WAY more on list building on my 2nd authority site so I hope you don't mind another quick question. For the pops, are you doing on page load or exit? Did you do any split-testing?
Thrive is what I ended up going with, and I'm very very satisfied so far. Really easy to make the forms, and they answered 1 support question I had in like 10 minutes.
No, I hadn't, but they don't appear to have A/B testing. Forgot to mention that. Thanks, though! :)
Looks very nice, they've got some good options but doesn't look like they have exit intent. Kind of odd considering all the other appearance choices they give you. Thanks!
Any thoughts on this? I'm looking at Thrive Leads as well as Optinmonster right now and both look good but I'd like to hear some real opinions from people who have actually used them.
Exit intent is a must, as well as being able to design professional looking forms with ease.
Right now, I only...
It's not just bad reps, it's the policies as well. I sold a site and the person I sold it to was going to just take over the account. They wanted us to both get notarized statements of transfer before they'd do it.
They also charge $100 for site transfers while most others are free.
Saw Blue Host recommended, and I'd STRONGLY recommend against them. Their support started off average and at the end was so unbelievably bad it was like they were actively trying to get me to drop them.
I've checked out the Power Curve tool but beyond that haven't really tried to apply it anywhere yet.
The Marketing DNA test I was kind of rolling my eyes during and felt like on most I could have chosen multiple answers so I wasn't expecting much, but yeah it got me pretty well too.
Been reading some of these and here's my take so far
80/20 Sales & Marketing: Excellent! Nothing groundbreaking really, but the way it's effected how I apply and look at the 80/20 has really helped.
Making It All Work: I'm about halfway through and working on implementing the system. Definitely...
Are you obligated to sell through flippa? I see lots of sites that say they've been relisted, is this a factor of not accepting bids, buyer backing out, or receiving no bids? Some of all 3?
I'll have to put some thought into it, I'm planning on spending the majority of today working on my auction copy and from what I've seen it will be easy to make mine blow most of the garbage on flippa out of the water with that. But the seeming guarantees with EF would be nice.
