I Got Another Idea

Wasting time guess at the industry is just that - a waste of time. ZERO to do with insurance.

The investigative skills being displayed here is hopeless.

Just got an expired domain and started building a web app for a classified ads site for my big kid site. I'm gonna go hard regardless, as is tradition, but if we have a crew of people going hard, it is nothing but motivation.

Keep me in the loop pals!

It's been a jam packed week with tons of meetings and confirmations. 2nd offer is on board. Going to the final phases of discussing terms and figuring out infrastructure for lead management at the moment. I'll update when I have more details.

Would driving inbound calls to these call centers be viable or can they only work with outbound calling the leads that are supplied to them?

Yeah it would be.

Count me in.

I need a way to get out of my day job that barely pays the bills and I would love to learn from the experts here on how to do that.

Quick Update: I'm flying down to Delray Beach on Tuesday to meet up with call center #2 to workout details, numbers, and logistics; then we're flying back up to Jersey to meet with the other side afterwards. Once we have more solidified details we'll update everyone and I believe we can begin the process of this whole venture.

Looking forward to it.

Anything we can do to prepare? Ive re-read the course and the traffic leak studies.I have my shovel and I'm hungry. Tell me where to dig and I'll dig a pool!

Does the corporation have any limitations on PPC?

No there will not be from what I foresee. You are free to do whatever you feel is necessary to take things to the next level.

Quick Update, Meeting In Delray happened last last Tuesday through Saturday - had to recover last week from everything and catch up on work. So the situation is before opening the flood gates on Call Center #2, we are putting up a test site, then generating as many leads as possible, while dry running the whole process and working out tweaks to the internal lead pipeline system. So far lead negotiations are pretty smooth, and the CPA is extremely "meaty" from my perspective so that's a good sign for everyone.

We want to do a dry run working off the test website, and when leads close and first payments are received it'll be time to open things up to to developers IMO. So the main goal right now is completing the new test site and generating some leads. The last thing I want is to get one side of the house going without the other side organized, that's why I'm taking the frontal position with the dry runs, while we tweak everything.

The Engineer and Ryuzaki are in the loop, but I realize I forgot to update everyone else - my bad. Things are moving rather quickly, so we can get a site up within 2-4 weeks, and start generating some leads a little after that so we'll have benchmarks on how fast a site can get up and people can get paid.

I'll be starting negotiating with call center #1 within the next 10 days. Once I have an update I'll let you guys know.

Awesome. Sounds like things are moving along well. Looking forward to next update.

Count me in.

From what I read we will be getting paid from the corporation for any leads that we send that then convert. I assume the corporation will take a % of the commission that we would earn. For example a converted lead is worth 15% of the total and the corp takes 15% of the commission. Is that correct?

Since working for the corporation in this way would keep us a level removed from the sales team and provider - how would reporting be handled to keep things transparent? I've been burned before on deals and removing the risk always came down to setting up a good system upfront.

Not that I didn't expect this to continue sounding... err... legitimate... but I don't think I'll ever cease to be impressed and surprised when this level of OG shit is literally going down on a forum I'm active on... I'm still pumped about the chance to learn more from you.

That's all being worked out at the moment and one of the reasons for the test run.

That was the first thing I solved during the meetings. It's easily solved once you think about it. But that's going to be a key trade secret that's only going to be revealed once a person is a shareholder.

However there are multiple other ways to know whether a lead closed from an outsider perspective that can also be employing - one of them is feedback. But all that will be un-necessary once you see what we got going on.

Quick Update: Call center #1 and #2's first sets of websites are rolling out the factory and launching. Both call centers are pretty excited and we'll be rolling with some PPC budgets to get things going so we can get some solid numbers on what's possible.

The main goal at the moment is to streamline the internal process for both call centers, train the team to handle internet leads, and then start slowly opening up the corporation once we've got some solid stats.

I have a web designer spitting out these websites left and right, and am using him for this dry run process. There have been some interesting bumps in the road, but so far things are looking real smooth. Next steps are the follow up meetings that will start us down the long-haul of generating this money.

I'll only be doing updates when there are serious milestones being achieved.

I remembered this thread the other day, checked this thread, and almost PM'd you.
