On the flipside tho @SeoReborn & @Steve Brownlie, it's nice earning extra paper (USD) but that don't discount the weakening of our currency, lost equity in previous investments (e.g. property) let alone - as far as the nation goes - lost FDI etc etc.

I actually voted leave. Not #bregret, although I never, ever thought it would actually come to pass living among the lefties of London. As far as Brexit goes, I expected this upheaval, but I really hope my pals aren't/weren't right. A lot of people around thinking this is going to make 2008 look like a warm up. Not just talking UK/EU btw, Deutsche Bank looking like it's on the brink of collapse, and China is a bubble that's just been waiting to pop.. I'm not going to lie that I'm slightly enjoying the chaos though, just wish I had some stacks to throw about. My pal who's got like 3 passports and lives in Thailand made like £40k off Brexit thus far.. lol.

I don't doubt we're better off outside, as a country. Just hope we haven't totally fucked over everyone else on earth in the process. Surprised to see so little on Brexit here and elsewhere, been offline for a while.

^ Just to state, I don't doubt the UK will prevail regardless, nor do I doubt that the UK will remain U.. But the things that are worrying me right now are:
  • Violence in Ireland
  • Vindication of *actual* right wing parties elsewhere in Europe.. Farage ain't shit, and despite England going all Kristallnacht suddenly, we're still a very cosmopolitan place.
  • The "European project" was always a Franco-German thang, BUT we were the counterweight to that, allowing the little people that agreed with us a voice: e.g. Ireland/Malta = corporations/taxation, Poland/V4 = less "further union" etc. Which could lead to..
  • Break up of the EU/EZ (I want to be friends with EU, I don't want to see it fail tho.)
The EZ created a 2-speed EU from the off, but I don't want to see it fail either. Just always thought we were a square peg in a round hole. Really hope they can reform and the sky isn't actually falling..

As a Gen-Xer, it sickens me to see that most millennials have this need to be obedient to authority who is obviously out to fuck them over. All the globalists have to do is tell them they're racists if they don't support "the cause" and they fall in line quickly.

I guess when you've been subtlety conditioned from birth by TV shows and the like to think a certain way and to believe certain things, never to question what your TV says, you just end up accepting what they say to be true.

I read an article a while back... no way I could re-find it or even remember the details, but the main point is that the Millenials, SJW's, these gender and sexual deviants, etc... They aren't concerned with actually being good people. Which is why they're very quick to tell people they should die of cancer and rot in hell, etc. Because somehow, the strategy for them has become signaling virtue instead of actually being virtuous.

And signalling is all about external factors like behavior, clothing, labels, hair cuts, etc. If you have blue hair and call yourself a fluid-gender omni-pan-sexual wolf-kin then that's enough. Everyone like them agrees they are progressive and good people. And that's where their self-development stops. It's literally the wolf in sheep's clothing.

They've signaled virtue, their cohort all conspires with them in this strategy, and then when they get the confrontation they're asking for (but not asking for? Just treat us equal!) they immediately expose their true nature. They're typically rotten at heart and soul and only go to bat for their tribe for the sake of social support. Otherwise they'd turn on each other as well. Maybe that's why they sympathize with other radicals and terrorists.

It's cute when they go looking for fights they can't handle either. They'll have the doctor surgically implant an arm growing out of their forehead and then go out on the town hoping someone looks at it so they can be offended. You know it's a generation that's brainwashed because they contradict themselves from the very premise: I'm unique and different, but don't treat me different. I want to be normal and equal, but I'm special and you should accept that. I refuse to accept norms and demand that everyone else change to match me.

We could go on and on about how stupid this is. It's all coming out of the Frankfurt School of Social Marxism. Every bit of this was planned since WWI and slowly executed to undermine democracy and capitalism to move to socialism, which isn't' horrible when a society is ready for it, but it's only a stepping stone to the final order of communism, which all of these idiot kids think they'd love because it further relinquishes them of responsibility. Everyone's equal at the bottom, and that's the only way they know how to get it.

We've never had a generation of humanity be so ill equipped to deal with reality. It's so bad that they are, as a group, willingly attempting to layer illusion over it instead.

As for the SJWs, I think you've summed them up nicely. And even though these are the far left of the lot, there are a large amount of young people these days who are at least socialist in thinking. Reading your post made sense out of how they arrived at these beliefs That and the media subtlety promoting socialism/communism. I mean for Christ's sake, they have young men wearing Che Guevara T-shirts now.

It's a "Fourth Generation Psy-Op"... divide and remain conquered. "The Man" wants to stay on top and sees Group A and Group B getting organized and riled up. Instead of even acknowledging them or confronting them in any actual manner, they run a psy-op campaign to turn them against each other. The idiots then think they're fighting their own battles, letting off their pressure release valves on each other, weakening both parties who had a common enemy.

It's pretty impressive to see these things happen on such a large scale. I'd almost applaud if it wasn't completely evil.

SJWs aside, although I agree with the points you and @Ryuzaki have raised above especially The Establishment exploiting and exacerbating social divisions for their own ends (divide and conquer) Personally I'd attribute the current sad state of the world to the Chicago School of thought (Friedman et al.) more than anything else, especially some European academics with Marxist tenancies... That type of thinking tends to be quite popular in those circles btw.

EDIT: Does the world really look Marxist to you? I'm not even a lefty or formally educated, but, m8...

It's an excellent display of propaganda: the very term "conspiracy theory" has been so derided that now people associate legitimate conspiracies with things such as aliens or other theories. I can't tell you how many times I've heard people saying "wow you believe that 9/11 wasn't as described? Do you also believe in UFOs in Area 51?" This is a two-pronged attack that simultaneously derides while connecting two things that are not connected at all. The final result? Cultural Marxism is a conspiracy theory, therefore it is false, therefore you are crazy.
